Job Description
Express Employment Professionals, Delta/ Richmond office, is currently hiring 10 persons - unskilled to skilled Meat Cutters and/ or Band Saw Operators for a busy production facility in Richmond, BC. This is a great opportunity for candidates with or without previous meat cutting and band saw experience, as well as individuals looking to enter the industry and learn.
Pay Rate:
- Experienced Band Saw Operators: $22.00 – $26.00/hr
- Non-Experienced / Entry Level Candidates: $18.25 – $20.00/hr
Job Duties:
- Operate band saw equipment safely and efficiently
- Cut and portion meat products according to specifications
- Handle, trim, and package meat products
- Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety procedures
- Work in a fast-paced refrigerated environment
- Follow workplace safety standards and company policies
Requirements:
- Previous meat cutting or band saw experience will be an asset but those without and willing are also welcome! Ask your friends and family who is interested - even for deboning chicken
- Comfortable working with raw meat products
- Those operating Bandsaw will need to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
- Steel-toe boots required
