Production Worker (Food Processing & Packing) – Richmond, BC

Express Employment Professionals – Delta/Richmond is currently recruiting Production Workers for our client in Richmond, BC. Our client is one of North America's largest independently owned fresh produce distributors, supplying premium-quality fruits and vegetables to restaurants and food service businesses across the region.

We are currently hiring 4 Production Workers to join a fast-paced food processing and packaging team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking full-time work, with the potential for permanent employment.

Job Duties

Grade and package fresh vegetables
Stack boxes weighing up to 40 lbs on a regular basis
Perform light cleaning and maintain a clean work area
Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures
Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

Requirements

Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to work quickly and accurately
Steel-toe work boots are required
Able to safely lift 10–30 lbs throughout the shift
Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment (3°C)
Flexible availability, including weekends
Able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented and reliable

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week
Must be available to work weekends (typically 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day, or be available both weekend days as required)
Rotating shifts assigned weekly by the supervisor:
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Overtime may be available during the holiday season

What We Offer

Pay: $17.85/hour (increasing to $18.25/hour effective June 1)
