Position Information

Location New Westminster/Coquitlam Campus Salary Range
$28.69 per hour (with wage increments to a max of $32.04 per hour). Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

With your knack for problem solving, you are a key team member working behind the scenes working closely with our Finance department to ensure all reporting and financial tasks are completed. WHAT IT TAKES

    • Completion of the second level of CGA / CMA program at a recognized institution supplemented by at least two years of relevant work experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
    • Good working knowledge of the English language together with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated working knowledge of computerized inventory management systems, ERP , accounting, or related software. Knowledge of retail operations including Point of Sale systems and cash handling methods.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with considerable independence of action and a minimum of direct supervision. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to establish priorities, achieve deadlines and function well under pressure. Proven ability to perform under extreme pressure during peak periods
    • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to produce statistics and reports. Proven ability to develop and implement procedures and documentation.
Additional Information

    • This temporary full-time (35 hours per week) position is available starting June 22, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
    • Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department's need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required.
    • The position is located at the New Westminster/Coquitlam campus; however, successful candidate must be available for occasional work at all Douglas College campuses and offsite locations.
