Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $98,800 - $130,800
MB & ON: $90,100 - $124,100
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $89,200 - $118,500

Join our Infrastructure Facilities Water/Wastewater Structural Team in Vancouver, BC, where you will help shape resilient water and wastewater infrastructure solutions that communities depend on. This role offers the chance to collaborate with exceptional engineers while mentoring emerging talent - expanding your technical impact and leadership in a high-growth environment.
Your Impact
- Design and analyze structural systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, and retaining structures.
- Lead structural design packages using engineering software, hand calculations, and design standards to deliver complete structural systems.
- Prepare markups in Bluebeam and coordinate with BIM teams to translate analytical work into models and drawings.
- Conduct site inspections for new construction, structural condition assessments, and rehabilitation projects.
- Provide construction support including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and change management.
- Coordinate closely with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Architectural disciplines to integrate design solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, project exposure, and professional development.
- Apply sound engineering judgement, ethics, and standard methodologies in complex project environments.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree in Structural or Seismic Engineering an asset.
- 7+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably in water/wastewater facilities in high-seismic B.C. environments.
- Registered P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
- Strong knowledge of BCBC 2024, NBCC, CSA A23.1/2, CSA A23.3, ACI 350, CSA S16, CSA S900.2.
- Proficiency with industry-standard structural analysis software (STAAD, S-Frame, CSI suite) and familiarity with ACC and Revit.
- Ability to independently lead design packages and meet client deadlines in dynamic project environments.
- Comfortable conducting field assessments and site inspections.
- Valid driver's license preferred for project travel.
