WSP is seeking its next Senior Landscape Architect/Project Manager to join our growing BC Design practice in Vancouver. Our ideal candidate is a creative, collaborative designer with a passion for the profession and demonstrated experience taking projects from concept to completion. You'll shape places that connect communities, restore ecosystems, and elevate everyday experiences.

As a senior contributor and project leader, you will guide multidisciplinary teams, champion design excellence, and help us win work by contributing to proposals and client relationships. You'll work across a rich portfolio-from urban parks and ecological landscapes to complete streets, public spaces, and transformative community-building projects.

Registered Arborists (ISA Certified Arborists or equivalent) are strongly preferred.

Your Impact
  • Lead projects from conceptual design through construction, delivering thoughtful, environmentally responsive, and community-centered landscapes.
  • Drive design vision and ensure technical excellence across site planning, grading, planting design, detailing, and contract administration.
  • Mentor and support early-career professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Engage meaningfully with clients, stakeholders, and the public, representing WSP with clarity, professionalism, and purpose.
  • Advance proposal development efforts and contribute to market growth across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
  • Bring creative problem-solving and sound judgment to complex, multidisciplinary challenges.
  • Conduct field reviews during construction and apply your expertise to ensure design intent is realized.
  • Support internal initiatives, learning activities, and continuous improvement across the studio.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Full Member in Good Standing with the BCSLA (or equivalent, with seal).
  • 12+ years of professional experience in Landscape Architecture across diverse project types.
  • ISA Certified Arborist or equivalent credential.
  • Advanced proficiency with core design tools (CAD, Adobe Suite, MS Office), plus experience with AutoCAD, Civil3D, SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, Rhino, or GIS.
  • Demonstrated project management excellence with strong financial acumen.
  • Experience cultivating client relationships and building business opportunities across the region.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to perform field work.
  • Additional credentials in Accessible Design, Environmental Stewardship, or other relevant specialties are considered an asset.
  • Fluency in a second language-French desirable.
  • We invite all applicants to submit a résumé and portfolio (PDF or website link) demonstrating relevant work. Please limit PDF files to 10MB .
