Job Description

Love working with numbers but want a bigger say in the decisions that drive a business forward?

We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a rapidly growing, internationally recognized technology company seeking a commercially minded Senior Financial Analyst who wants to move beyond traditional FP&A and make a genuine impact on business strategy.

If you're someone who enjoys solving complex problems, challenging assumptions and working closely with the people driving revenue and growth, this could be an exceptional next step.

The Company

SWIM Recruiting is partnering with an established, high-growth technology organization with a strong market presence, an expanding international footprint and ambitious plans for the future.

With continued investment in its people and global operations, the business is entering an exciting chapter, and its Finance team is playing an increasingly influential role in shaping what comes next.

This is an organization where Finance isn't simply responsible for explaining financial results. It's a strategic partner to the business, helping leaders evaluate opportunities, challenge assumptions and make smarter commercial decisions.

You'll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team where curiosity is encouraged, fresh perspectives are welcomed and talented individuals have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What – The Role

This isn't a role where you'll simply report on what happened last month. You'll help influence what happens next.

As Senior Financial Analyst – Strategic Finance & GTM FP&A, you'll work at the intersection of Finance and the commercial business, partnering with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Revenue Operations.

You'll help answer some of the organization's most important commercial questions: Where should we invest? How can we grow more efficiently? What resources do we need? Which opportunities will deliver the greatest return?

It's an opportunity to combine sophisticated financial analysis with genuine business partnership, gaining exposure to the decisions that shape a scaling technology company.

What you'll be doing:

  • Influencing commercial strategy: Partner with business leaders to evaluate opportunities, challenge assumptions and provide financial insights that support meaningful decisions.
  • Getting closer to the growth engine: Analyze the financial and operational drivers behind revenue growth, sales performance, customer acquisition and commercial investment.
  • Building models that matter: Develop financial models, forecasts and business cases that help leadership assess opportunities, risks and potential outcomes.
  • Shaping investment and hiring decisions: Support sales capacity planning, headcount forecasting, productivity analysis and resource allocation.
  • Driving financial planning: Play an important role in budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for key go-to-market functions.
  • Turning data into decisions: Translate complex financial information into clear, compelling recommendations and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Improving how Finance operates: Identify opportunities to strengthen planning processes, reporting capabilities and analytical frameworks as the business continues to scale.
You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects, develop strong relationships with commercial leaders and see firsthand how your work influences business performance.

For someone who wants to develop into a highly effective strategic finance professional, the breadth of exposure and commercial involvement makes this a particularly interesting opportunity.

Who – The Candidate

We're looking for an experienced FP&A professional who understands the financial and commercial drivers of a SaaS business.

You'll bring hands-on experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and business partnering, gained within a SaaS organization. You'll understand subscription-based revenue models, recurring revenue metrics and the importance of using financial insights to support strategic business decisions.

You'll be commercially minded, analytically strong and confident working with stakeholders across the business. You're someone who can look beyond the numbers, challenge assumptions and turn complex financial information into meaningful recommendations.

While previous experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success or Revenue Operations would be highly advantageous, we're also interested in strong SaaS FP&A professionals who are looking to broaden their exposure to the commercial side of the business.

What we're looking for:

  • Approximately 3–6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, commercial finance, investment banking, financial consulting or a related analytical role.
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities, with advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • The ability to understand complex financial and operational information and translate it into practical business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial judgment, intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and thrive in a dynamic, evolving business.
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
Previous exposure to SaaS, subscription-based business models, sales capacity planning, go-to-market metrics or financial planning platforms is a must-have for this role.

A CPA, CFA or MBA is also required.

What matters most is your ability to think beyond the spreadsheet, understand the bigger picture and use financial insights to influence better business decisions.

Our client offers a competitive compensation package designed to attract talented finance professionals who want to make a meaningful impact within a growing international technology company.

  • The opportunity to work alongside experienced leaders within a growing international technology organization.

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location and internal compensation guidelines

Where
