This organization is a successful and established privately held corporate group headquartered in Vancouver. The company oversees a diversified portfolio of operating businesses and investment interests across multiple industries.
The organization has a reputation for operational excellence, disciplined financial management, and long-term strategic growth. The accounting & finance team is collaborative, supportive, and high-performing, with regular exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional initiatives.

What- the Role:
On behalf of our Client, we are seeking a new Senior Accountant for a full-time, permanent opportunity.

Multi-entity corporate accounting and financial reporting.
Preparing internal financial statement packages for multiple entities.
Contributing directly to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
Preparing and posting journal entries and completing working paper reconciliations.
Managing intercompany transactions, invoicing, and reconciliations.
Supporting revenue recognition, deferred revenue tracking, invoicing, and collections.
Supporting indirect tax compliance including GST/HST and other regulatory filings.
Assisting with internal and external reporting packages.
Supporting finance-related projects including ERP system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
Assisting with corporate transactions, restructuring initiatives, and other ad hoc projects as required.

Who- the Candidate:
We are seeking a dynamic, well-rounded, and proactive senior-level Accountant. The selected candidate will have a proven track record in accounting and financial reporting within a complex multi-entity environment.

3–5+ years progressive experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting.
CPA designation completed or near completion.
Experience in a multi-entity corporate environment (private company experience preferred).
Exposure to acquisitions, reorganizations, or complex accounting transactions is beneficial.
Strong understanding of revenue recognition and intercompany accounting.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
ERP experience (mid-market or enterprise systems preferred).
Foundational training in public practice (Big 4 or mid-sized firm) is considered an asset.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior leadership.
Demonstrated curiosity and desire to understand business operations beyond the debits and credits.

How Much:
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and qualifications in the range of $80,000 - $100,000 base, extended health and dental benefits, performance-based bonus, professional development support, and other perks.

Where:
Headquarters are in Downtown Vancouver. This role is primarily office-based, with 1 day WFH.
