Job Description

Horizon Recruitment Inc. seeks a Senior Contract Manager to oversee a significant EPC contracts for a BC-based project. This 1-year contract offers a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in managing major projects in western Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and finalize contract terms and conditions for executing the EPC contract for the project.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to time and cost considerations, and resolve disputes as needed.
  • Lead management of changes and escalations throughout the EPC contract's lifecycle.
  • identify and manage areas of risk to the project
  • Evaluate proposals, negotiate, and finalize contract agreements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience overseeing large EPC / Infrastructure contracts.
  • Provide direction to a team of contract management professionals and support staff.
  • Expertise in writing, negotiating, and finalizing EPC contracts.
  • Preferred experience in large-scale construction or engineering projects.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a complex, large-scale environment.
  • Proven track record managing shifting priorities, deliverables, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Underground Mining / Tunneling experience an asset
  • University-level training in contract management, engineering, or construction management.

Remuneration:

  • $85-$90/hour, depending on experience.
