We are an innovative developer of software as a service (SaaS) products and services for the transit, demand response, school children transportation and taxi markets worldwide. We have a global presence with offices in Vancouver, BC, Canada; Redmond, Washington, USA; Oxford, United Kingdom and Tampere, Finland.

About the Role

RaaS is a cloud-based service and is a horizontal market opportunity with huge potential and is fully funded within the company. It is based on patented, existing world leading technology which needs to be repositioned and commercialized for success.

As the President - RaaS Business Unit of this new business unit, you will report directly to the CEO and become an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). Leveraging your visionary approach to product leadership, along with your extensive experience in business development and go-to-market strategies for cutting-edge SaaS products, you will play a leading role in successfully commercializing this product offering. You will be compensated directly based on the success of this business venture.

Your responsibilities will encompass leading a team of technical resources, overseeing the finalization of the product offering and its commercialization. As a hands-on leader within the business unit, your role extends to providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship to our product and technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and execution.

In collaboration with other SLT members you will work closely to develop and execute a robust go-to-market strategy. Your objective is to deliver best-in-class solutions to our global customers, driving market penetration and fostering widespread adoption. Your contribution will be instrumental in positioning our new product as a leader in the industry, aligning with the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional solutions on a global scale.


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the new Business Unit.
  • Identify market opportunities, trends, and potential risks to inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure the product aligns with market needs and stays ahead of industry trends.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
  • Analyze data to make informed decisions on product positioning and differentiation.
  • Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption.
  • Create marketing plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize product visibility.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Communicate effectively to align stakeholders with the product vision and strategy.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance product features based on user feedback.
  • Drive sales efforts to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Success in previous ventures, we are looking for someone who has successful track record.
  • University Education in either engineering, marketing, or business. MBA in relevant discipline is preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven experience as a business unit leader or General Manager in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Visionary leadership to guide the product through its lifecycle.
  • Experience in defining product roadmaps and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities for product expansion.
  • Proficient in creating and implementing effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in driving product adoption and achieving market penetration.
  • Leadership skills to build and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Ability to engage effectively with technical teams, translating vision into actionable plans.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering value and satisfaction.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in aligning product strategies with overall business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable results and meet business objectives.
  • Experience with routing and scheduling systems in transportation industry is an asset.

This opportunity will work physically from the Vancouver, BC, Canada corporate office. The selected candidate must be living in BC’s lower mainland and be legally entitled to work in Canada.

We offer an attractive and competitive compensation package which includes a comprehensive benefits package, combined with variety, challenge and scope to develop your career in this fast-moving international organization. The compensation will be based on two components; A base salary of $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 based on experience plus benefits and a variable portion based on either profit sharing or business growth or market penetration which is to be negotiated and decided.
