6 month contact Senior Portfolio Manager contract role on a long term, highly innovative team with a global enterprise organization
What & Why:
As a result of investment in technology and process, our client is looking to add a Portfolio Manager to their enterprise team. In this role you will be responsible for managing overall health of the Infrastructure & Network portfolio which includes but is not limited to portfolio governance, delivery assurance, risk management, financial management (financial go-gets), prioritization & planning, annual planning and standard delivery practices. You will also ensure effective portfolio governance of programs, and projects in alignment with internal standards (where they exist) to create visibility and enable decision making. You will provide inputs to externally driven cadences and manages internal governance. This is a very exciting organization to join that is having an incredible year.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 3 days a week on site.

You:You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- Minimum of 5+ years working in technology operations, Portfolio Operations or a related field
- 5-7+ years in project coordinator or management role
- Experience driving program/project management for large projects / initiatives
- Experience delivering change and/or working within a growth org context is helpful
- Ability to influence and manage conversations and meetings across the organization at multiple levels, particularity around strategic issues to bring structure to ambiguous environments – a strong team player
- Project Management Professional (PMP) nice to have
- Change Management Certification (PROSCI) nice to have
- Process Improvement Certification (Lean Six Sigma) nice to have
Compensation:
