Manager, Fulfillment Inventory Management
This is a unique opportunity to partner cross-functionally across a major retail organization, turning complex inventory data into strategic insights that influence senior leadership decisions, drive enterprise-wide impact, and help shape the roadmap for the future of the fulfillment network.
This is a contract through January 31, 2027, with potential for extension should business needs and performance align.
Who – The Company:

What- The Role:- Support fulfillment network inventory management.
- Be part of oversight and monitoring of all fulfillment inventory management workstreams, creating new connections, quantifying impacts and recommending optimizations.
- Lead the development of short term and long terms optimization roadmap, with qualitative and quantitative impacts, collaborating cross functionally to build out business cases.
- Partners cross-functionally on Network Inventory placement recommendations and drive technical solutions to enable recommendations, and track impacts.
- Partner cross functionally with Ecom fulfillment, Inventory management, Retail ops, Exit and others to support inventory lifecycle optimization initiatives by highlighting impacts on DC fulfillment network and enterprise margin.
- Proved track record of cross-functional influence at a senior leadership level in a large retail company, impacting processes and influencing decisions.
- Drive leadership decisions through enablement of strong governance, process development, clarity and data driven recommendations
- Strong presentation skills and ability to lead a cross functional senior leadership forum, by creating content from various partners, reviewing and making recommended changes to drive clarity and flow, drive action and accountability.
- Management experience: 2+ years managing or overseeing a team. The manager will have oversight across analysts and different bodies of work. Prior people leadership experience is important.
- Financial background: CPA and/or strong financial modelling experience are highly valued. This has been a big asset on the team when it comes to quantifying initiatives and clearly linking work to financial and margin impact.
- Retail experience: Retail strategy and retail industry experience is important, as many of the cross-functional partners sit in this space.
- Technical skills: Advanced Excel and PowerBI are required. Comfort in creating reports and using data to drive the team toward goals.
- Communication: Comfortable presenting to senior leadership (Director, Sr. Director, VP, SVP). Strong at bringing different inputs together, preparing content, making sure the story is cohesive across presentations, reviewing materials for the team, and helping drive initiatives through to completion. They’re looking for someone proactive, not reactive.

Competitive hourly wage in the range of $70-80/hr + 4% vacation pay, if incorporated, please discuss with Swim.
Where:Vancouver, hybrid working conditions, minimum 3 days onsite.
