Job Description

6-month contract Learning Designer role with a global enterprise organization delivering training for a key group of business users.

What & Why:

As a result of growth and investment in technology our enterprise client is looking to add a Learning Designer to support the training of a large group of end users. This role designs and delivers learning experiences for their teams as they roll out large-scale technology projects. You'll create everything from eLearning courses and videos to in-person workshops and user guides, translating complex systems into training that sticks. Working closely with SMEs and cross-functional partners, you'll scope projects, build content using tools like Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Suite, facilitate sessions, and iterate based on learner feedback. It's instructional design meets tech enablement in a fast-paced, global retail environment.

They are well known for their corporate culture and has won major awards for their accomplishments. They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a primarily in office work environment with 3-4 days a week in office.

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Learning Designer, Training Specialist, or Content Developer, ideally supporting technology implementations or functional learning programs.
  • Proficiency with learning design tools: Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Articulate 360, Adobe Premiere Pro, and experience creating/managing courses within an LMS .
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies including ADDIE, SAM, Action Mapping, and Performance Support frameworks.
  • Advanced facilitation skills with proven ability to deliver engaging virtual and in-person training sessions, including managing difficult or unengaged learners.
Compensation:

This role pays between $55-70 per hour.
