Overview
Job Skills / Requirements
The Integrated Guarding Laborer supports the assembly, deployment, and maintenance of Smart Surveillance Units (SSUs), Mobile Surveillance Trailers (MSTs), and associated equipment used in Paladin's Integrated Guarding service. This role also assists with inventory management, shipping and receiving, and general warehouse activities. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys building and assembling equipment, and takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
• Assemble and configure Smart Surveillance Units (SSUs) and Mobile Surveillance Trailers (MSTs) according to established standards.
• Install and mount equipment including cameras, speakers, network devices, enclosures, batteries, and related hardware.
• Perform basic quality assurance checks to ensure equipment is build-ready and operational prior to deployment.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, inspecting, and documenting incoming inventory and materials.
• Prepare equipment, tools, and materials for shipment to customer sites and installation partners.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory counts, audits, and stock replenishment activities.
• Organize warehouse, storage, and staging areas to ensure equipment is secure, accessible, and deployment-ready.
• Support loading, unloading, and movement of equipment and trailers between locations as required.
• Assist the Integrated Solutions team with equipment repairs, refurbishment, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Perform other duties as required to meet organizational requirements.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembling mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow build instructions, diagrams, and checklists.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Experience in warehouse, construction, fabrication, manufacturing, or equipment assembly environments is considered an asset.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and materials safely, and perform physical work in a warehouse environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
No formal technical or IT experience is required; however, candidates should be comfortable building, assembling, and working with equipment and tools.
Please note: this is a Full Time Temporary (FTT) position with an end date of December 15, 2026 with possibility of extension.
