Job Description

The Junior Pipe Fabricator supports the fabrication team by assisting with the preparation, assembly, and fabrication of piping systems according to engineering drawings, specifications, and company quality standards. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to develop a career in pipe fabrication while working in a safe, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret basic fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, and work instructions.
  • Measure, mark, cut, bevel, and prepare pipe materials for fabrication.
  • Assist with fitting and assembling pipe spools and components.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely.
  • Support tack welding and fit-up activities under the guidance of experienced fabricators or welders.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, or quality concerns.
  • Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading of fabricated components.
  • Follow company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and skills development.
