Your Impact
- Design and oversee construction of mine waste containment systems that protect communities and ecosystems
- Lead geotechnical investigations and stability analyses to support safe, sustainable mining operations
- Develop long-term strategies for waste and water management that align with environmental goals
- Prepare clear, data-driven technical documentation and performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations across diverse project sites
- Collaborate with geology, water resources, and project delivery teams to drive integrated solutions
The Skills That Set You Apart
- 5-7 years of experience in mine waste or geotechnical engineering environments
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for licensure
- Experience with tailings dam design concepts, best practices, and guidelines
- Willingness to travel, including extended site assignments in Canada and abroad
- Clear, informed technical communication and documentation skills
- Adaptable mindset with a collaborative approach to delivery
Preferred
- Master's degree in a related field
- Familiarity with permitting processes and environmental regulations
- Experience leading project execution and multidisciplinary teams
Compensation
Salary range (in British Columbia): $91,200 - $145,400
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
