Job Description

The Welding Department is seeking qualified applications for casual/on-call teaching opportunities within The School of Trades, Industry and Professional Studies at Camosun College. A successful applicant will have the energy, commitment and motivation required to teach all types and levels of welding and must be available to teach our day shift (8am – 3pm). Diverse industry experience including code work such as shop fabrication, heavy construction and maintenance/repair (ASME or CSA W59). Experience must include Oxy-Acetylene cutting and welding, SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, plasma cutting and weld fitting. Knowledge of welding machine and related metal cutting and forming equipment operation is also necessary for this position.
