What- the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR professional who takes pride in accuracy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable navigating multiple systems while building reports from raw data. This individual will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, maintaining HR data integrity, and delivering responsive, high-quality support to employees and leaders across the organization.
- HRIS, Data & Reporting
- Maintain and audit employee records within the HRIS, ensuring a high standard of data accuracy and integrity
- Build and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and metrics using HRIS and Excel data
- Partner with Payroll to ensure employee changes are processed accurately and on time
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding including pre-hire logistics, orientation, and probationary follow-ups
- Manage employee lifecycle changes including transfers, leaves of absence, and offboarding
- Maintain employee files and prepare employment letters and related HR documentation
- Act as a first point of contact for employee and manager inquiries, providing timely and professional support
- Support routine employee relations matters and escalate more complex situations as needed
- Manage the HR inbox and assist with internal employee communications
- Support HR compliance, recordkeeping, policy maintenance, and health & safety administration
- Coordinate training logistics and maintain training records
- Assist with recruitment activities, HR projects, and employee engagement initiatives
- 3 to 6 years of progressive HR experience required
- Post secondary education in Human Resources
- CPHR candidate or designation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, with the ability to extract, analyze, and build reports from multiple data sources; experience working with HRIS platforms required. Exposure to Sage 300, SAP, or SQL is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proven ability to own a function independently.
- Working knowledge or BC employment legislation and HR compliance requirements.
The salary for this role is commensurate with level and relevance of HR experience and qualifications and will range from $60,000 to $80,000 base salary.
