Job Description

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada
Employment Type: Regular Full Time
Workplace Type: Hybrid

About our Vancouver Office

Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, between the Pacific Ocean and the Coast Mountains, Teck's Corporate Office sits in one of Canada's most culturally diverse cities.

Surrounded by world-renowned nature and globally inspired cuisine, the office brings together many of Teck's corporate functions - all working toward Teck's purpose of providing the essential resources the world relies on.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Lead, People Systems & Analytics, this role is the primary owner of SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) at Teck - responsible for both system configuration and practical guidance to Talent Acquisition teams across North America and Latin America.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on RCM configuration experience alongside a demonstrable understanding of full-cycle recruitment, enabling them to act as a credible advisor to recruiters and hiring managers, not just a system administrator. They are comfortable supporting geographically diverse teams with varying technical proficiency, translating complex system capabilities into clear, actionable guidance, and balancing enterprise-wide standards with regional operational needs.

Don't miss out on this outstanding opportunity to be part of one of Canada's leading mining companies and join our team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Configure and maintain SAP RCM - including requisition templates, offer workflows, candidate portals, and integrations with ONB 2.0, Employee Central, and third-party platforms
  • Serve as the functional advisor to geographically distributed Talent Acquisition teams, guiding recruiters and hiring managers on best-practice use of RCM across the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Support testing, impact analysis and configuration updates for SAP releases and system changes, communicating impacts to stakeholders
  • Design and deliver training sessions, job aids, and support resources for end users across multiple geographies and proficiency levels
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support: triage, troubleshoot, and resolve RCM issues, escalating to SAP vendor support when needed
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the RCM platform that reduce manual effort and increase recruiter productivity
  • Support a global enterprise recruiting standard while accommodating regional requirements across North American and LATAM operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of technical experience in HRIS, HR technology, or recruitment operations within a multinational organization
  • 3+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors RCM configuration experience; SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting certification preferred
  • Familiarity with third-party recruitment applications integrated within an ATS or HCM platform, including sourcing, assessment, reference check, and pre-employment screening tools.
  • Demonstrable experience with full-cycle recruitment practices, with the ability to advise credibly on process and not just system functionality
  • Experience supporting geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones and operational environments
  • Strong communicator with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences and build trust with recruiting partners
  • Experience with Onboarding 2.0 and Employee Central is a strong asset
  • Spanish language proficiency is an asset for supporting LATAM operations

Pay Range: CAD $85,000 - $105,000 per year

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
