Role Overview

Collaborating with the Manager, Financial Reporting Systems, the Lead, Financial Systems - EPM is responsible for the day-to-day system administration, configuration, and optimization of the company's enterprise performance management platform, OneStream XF, supporting the integration, forecasting, and reporting functions.

This role is a hands-on technical professional with experience across EPM systems, processes, and requirements, accountable for ongoing system maintenance, configuration, and improvements to ensure stable and efficient operations.

The role partners closely with Finance and business team members. It transforms business requirements into well-designed system solutions. It ensures data integrity and reliable system performance. Clear communication and agreed-upon specification documentation support these efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Manage and maintain the OneStream XF solution, including security, workflows, rules, integrations, data management, and reporting processes.
  • Partner with Finance, Controllership, FP&A, IT, and external partners to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement system enhancements.
  • Support financial close, consolidation, planning, forecasting, reporting, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and period-end activities within OneStream.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy through mappings, imports, validations, reconciliations, and control processes.
  • Configure and maintain financial models, cubes, workflows, calculations, dashboards, reports, and business intelligence artifacts.
  • Manage OneStream security roles, access controls, audit trails, and segregation of duties to support compliance and audit readiness.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, coordinate incident resolution, and support platform upgrades, testing, UAT, and release management.
  • Lead or support financial systems projects, including project planning, requirements gathering, documentation, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to users, champions, and new hires while promoting data governance and proper system usage.
  • Evaluate new OneStream features, accelerators, automation opportunities, and third-party integrations to improve efficiency, reporting, and controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a comparable field, with a graduate degree or equivalent experience taken into account. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, OneStream certifications)
  • Experience in EPM/financial systems administration, BI/reporting, or a related role with hands-on OneStream experience. Prior experience in finance transformation projects is helpful.
  • Proficiency with OneStream XF platform administration, data modelling, workflow design, rules, and business processes.
  • Experience with data integration concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data quality controls; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and other GL systems.
  • SQL skills and proficiency in examining data; ability to solve data issues and perform data validations.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, security standard processes, and governance (roles, access, audit logs).
  • Experience with other BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Analytical perspective with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Superb communication and collaboration skills; ability to interpret business requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated learner who keeps up to date with OneStream releases and procedures.
  • Structured problem solver with strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • OneStream XF Certification (Administrator or Developer)

Pay Range: CAD $122,000 - $150,000 per year

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
