Purpose of the Role

As the Design & Digital Project Specialist, you ensure all brand materials reflect the essence of our organizational brand and are impactful and consistent across all marketing channels. You make sure there is effective connectivity between internal and external stakeholders through strong project management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills, always ensuring our brand assets serve our organizational goals and objectives.

This role will operate on a hybrid work schedule based in either Vancouver, BC or Toronto, ON.

Key Accountabilities:

Brand Design Project and Agency Coordination

  • Maintain a consistent brand identity and appearance across all marketing and organizational collateral.
  • Coordinate the design and production of branded collateral and experiences for all organizational purposes.
  • Lead key projects including briefing and scoping all stakeholders, providing direction to those executing on tasks, managing the budget, and ensuring high quality outcomes.
  • Manage agency partner relationships and the quality and timing of project work, including external designers, animators, video producers and other professionals.
  • Communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders in a timely manner ensuring deadlines are met. 

Digital Channel and Website Implementation 

  • Create, collaborate, and organize assets for digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, and digital advertising. 
  • Collaborate on and manage updated content on our website and intranet.
  • Liaise with external website development agency ensuring website functionality and optimization.

Other relevant and related responsibilities, as assigned and as the needs of the organization change.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of brand and design marketing experience.
  • Degree or certification in graphic design, advertising, or a related field.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, brand development, communications channels, and related strategies.
  • Strong skills in design platforms such as: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva.
  • Experience with design, and production of, digital assets, print collateral, motion graphics, infographics, and other media.
  • Proficiency with navigating relationships particularly with external agencies and vendors.
  • Website CMS experience (DatoCMS preferred) and some html.
Additional Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience in the financial services industry considered an asset.

This position comes with a competitive base salary hiring range of $63,000 - $87,000 dependent on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, we also offer:
