Job Description

Great Raven Renovations Ltd. is looking for a dependable labourer to support renovation and small construction work across Salt Spring Island, the Cowichan Valley Region, and South Nanaimo districts.

This role is best suited to someone who is physically capable, punctual, respectful on residential jobsites, and able to take direction well. We work in occupied homes and on active residential projects, so professionalism, reliability, and steady effort matter.


Typical work includes:

  • demolition and removal of materials
  • site setup and protection
  • loading, unloading, and staging materials
  • digging and footing preparation
  • cleanup and waste handling
  • framing assistance and general install support
  • basic tool use, fastening, carrying, and jobsite help as directed



What we are looking for:

  • reliable transportation
  • strong attendance and punctuality
  • physically capable of labour-intensive work
  • respectful and professional conduct on site
  • ability to follow direction and work efficiently
  • PPE required
  • basic hand tools preferred


Compensation:

  • starting equivalent of approximately $200 - $240/day, depending on fit, experience, and day structure
  • paid trial day to start
  • potential for ongoing, full-time work for the right person
