The Developmental Disabilities Association (DDA) is a leading employer in BC's social service sector. The Awake Night Staff (AWNS) provides a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment for each resident with the opportunity for each resident to develop life skills to the limits of their desire and potential. The AWNS also ensures good communication between team members, family, and professionals with regard to the life of the individual.   

Job Title: AWAKE NIGHT STAFF | #1021
Service Area: Living Options
Location: Vancouver / Richmond
Start Date: ASAP
Term/Status: Casual/On-Call (Overnight Shifts)
Schedule/Hours: Minimum availability of 2 Shifts per week and every other weekend, both Saturday & Sunday.
Hourly Wage: $25.85 + 10.6% in lieu of benefits

Requirements/Education/Experience:  

  • Related experience and education   
  • Valid First Aid/CPR upon start date 
  • Criminal record clearance  
  • Medical clearance   
  • Able to meet minimum availability requirements   
  • Demonstrated competency in English, written and oral communication 
  • Eligible to work in Canada
