Job Description

This is a 3-month contract to start with the possibility of extension depending on business needs and performance.

Who- the Company:
Known for its strong brand, our client is a leading company with a legacy of connecting communities through coastal travel!

What- the Role:
A team member is going to be on leave, and our client sees an uptick in volume over the summer months, therefore they are looking to hire someone for around a 3-month contract to support in AP, AR and general accounting. Day to day you will be responsible for:

Processing invoices.
Recognizing payments in our system.
Journal entries in NetSuite.
Bank reconciliations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support a beloved brand and work in a dynamic team. Swim has placed a number of wonderful employees on the team, including the Controller who is the hiring manager for this role.

Who- the Candidate:

2 years experience in ap/ar and general accounting.
Extremely organized, detail oriented and takes pride in quality.
Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiples task in a time sensitive manner.
Effective communication skills (written & verbal).
Strong ERP and Excel skills (NetSuite an asset).
Experience with a system implementation an asset.
Demonstrated experience streamlining accounting processes and improving operational effectiveness.

How Much:
$29.50-31/hr + 4% vacation pay.

Where:
Vancouver, BC. Hybrid work model 3 days’ onsite.
