6-month contract Program Manager role to support AI and data governance at a large publicly traded organization.

What & Why:
As a result of investment in AI our client is seeking a Program Manager for their AI and Data Governance program, owning the day-to-day operations and roadmap that help enterprise data and AI teams govern responsibly. You’ll gather input from teams and leadership to shape the roadmap, manage delivery, budget, and value measurement, and author the executive-facing summaries and status reporting that tell the story of the program’s progress. Working with cross-functional experts in a global environment, you’ll drive impact by turning governance priorities into delivered outcomes.

They are well known for their corporate culture and has won major awards for their accomplishments. They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have an onsite work environment, 4 days a week in office.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

4-7 years of program or project management experience, including managing scope, milestones, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies across cross-functional teams
2+ years managing data governance programs, with experience coordinating enterprise data and technology stakeholders to execute governance standards and processes
1+ years designing or managing AI governance processes, including documenting workflows and supporting cross-functional teams in adopting them
1+ years creating executive-facing reports and presentations, with a track record of translating roadmap and status information into clear, compelling storytelling for senior leaders

Compensation:
This role pays between $80-90 per hour.
