You are a self-starter, proficient, and can work independently with little supervision. You are attentive to all aspects of your environment, pay close attention to fine details, and believe that one of the best qualities of a good process is that it is repeatable. We like you just the "weigh" you are; organized, motivated, and vigilant!
This is an entry-level position where you have the future ability to "branch out" into a scaling role. Along with performing daily scale accuracy checks, you'll also maintain the platform scale ensuring it is in good working order. You'll use your attention to detail to weigh and scale logging trucks, tag loads, and participate in scale to scan. If computers are the game, proficiency is your name! You'll enter data and prepare daily reports as requested. What "wood" we do without you?!
In a perfect world, you have prior Log Quality identification experience, knowledge of the forest industry, and prior experience with scales or have an interest in learning the above. A Scaler/Acting Scaler license would give your application a little more weight but is not needed to apply.
