A day in the life: • Daily operation of a wastewater treatment system and drinking water treatment system for a +200 person remote Northern Ontario camp.
• On site based full time 12 hours per day on a 2 week on, 2 week off rotation.
• Reviews, follows, and updates SOP's as needed.
• Completing daily toolbox meetings, FLHA's, JSA's, and Work Plans.
• Inventory and forecast required treatment system consumable supplies.
• When needed, perform system shutdown and decommissioning.
• Keep daily work log and sampling log.
We'd love to hear from you if you have... • Valid Ontario Regulation 128/04 drinking water operator certificate class 2
• Valid Ontario Regulation 129/04 wastewater operator license class 2
• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating a Class 2 Water and Wastewater Treatment Facility
• Must be able to read and adhere to permit requirements.
• Must be able to perform sampling as needed.
• Must be able to troubleshoot system as needed.
• High safety interdependence culture.
• Mechanically inclined to repair/troubleshoot systems.
• Excellent ability to work individually or in a team environment as needed.
• Must be able to inventory and forecast required treatment system consumable supplies.
• Experience working in an industrial, mine, and remote site is a plus.
• Must pass pre-access alcohol and drug test.
• Fly-in, fly-out access only to site. Travel costs paid for by Golder. Flights to site via charter plane from Timmins, Ontario. Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
