Position Overview:The position of Transportation Analyst is responsible for evaluating and monitoring the performance of the transportation network by providing an analytical assessment of the strategic and tactical opportunities through the development and maintenance of KPI dashboards and reporting.

Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
  • Partner with the Transportation and Trade Compliance leadership team to optimize transportation network by closely analyzing vendor base, utilization, costs, and overall performance.
  • Monitor planned versus actual performance and present results and recommend solutions by determining root causes for any gaps.
  • Identify trends that require discussion and action
  • Collaboratively develop and standardize KPI's, metrics and reporting across the transportation team
  • Develop and deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting packages with detailed analysis of opportunities
  • Present and participate in business reviews as required
  • Responsible to maintain a high level of transportation data integrity by collaboratively partnering cross functionally to recommend and improve processes and data collection from any data source system
  • Develop ad hoc reporting as required


  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, logistics or transportation
  • Knowledge of supply chain functionality, parts distribution networks, heavy equipment logistics, international freight forwarding and logistics principles.
  • Ability to understand complex business problems, apply appropriate analysis and sound decision-making.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to positively influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
  • 3-5 years of experience in an analyst role
  • 3+ years in supply chain, transportation or logistics related experience
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Office ( primarily Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Professional certifications are considered an asset (transportation, international trade or export controls)
  • With any industry leading Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is an asset.
