What will your typical day look like?

A TIBCO Software Engineer Consultant is passionate about building robust, reusable integration solutions and has a passion for managing complex TIBCO Administration scripted deployments, Installation, Maintenance and Administration of TIBCO servers in both UNIX and Windows platforms. You enjoy working with others to solve problems, share knowledge, and help grow and mentor junior developers. You like building positive client and peer relationships by developing an understanding of customer's business and project scope and can translate business requirements into technical requirements.
In this role, you will:

• Install, maintain & administer TIBCO components like TIBCO BW applications, Adapters and other TIBCO product suites in a large complex TIBCO enterprise set up.
• Setting up of TIBCO administrator, domains and tuning of administrator to achieve high performance.
• Maintenance and upgrade of the TIBCO components as and when required.
• Provide on-call support for supporting production business-critical environments 24/7.
• Facilitate technical meetings with client staff and business units and troubleshoot complex technical operational issues.

About the team

As a member of our Integration team, you will help our clients manage the complexity inherent in today's diverse business landscape while supporting them in consolidating or customizing multiple technologies. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on deployment, configuration of various TIBCO applications, adapters in the various tiers of the TIBCO environment along with tuning of the applications to achieve high throughput. We help our customers to reduce costs and risks by simplifying integration with existing systems and supporting them in all aspects of creating customized and innovative digital solutions. We focus on delivering a breadth of solutions to solve our clients most challenging business problems.

You are someone with:

• A BA/BSc or MA/MSc degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Experience in Installation, maintenance, and administration of TIBCO servers in both UNIX and Windows platform using TIBCO integration product suit including: BusinessWorks (5.x, 6.x, Container Edition), EMS (8.x), BusinessEvents (5.x, 6.x), Hawk, Administrator, TEA, & Rendezvous (RV).
• Solid administration skills supporting VMware, Storage, Windows, Unix/Linux servers, Oracle DB, Python, SQL, Unix shell scripting & XML Technologies (XSL, XSD, DTD).
• Solid understanding of containerization and virtualization, & experience with open integration and web services standards.
• Quick to learn new technologies, easy to adapt to new environments, thrive on solving challenging problems with technical solutions.
• Able to work in multiple technical environments and able to work with peers and business stakeholders.
