As the Corporate IT Trainer, you will work closely with the Director, Information Technology, to lead and shape cutting-edge learning initiatives for a large regional firm based in downtown Vancouver. You will take charge of empowering the staff with the knowledge and expertise to utilize advanced technology solutions effectively, and you’ll be the driving force behind the development and maintenance of an engaging learning curriculum.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and update learning resources for new hires, including technology/software upgrades, and implementing new initiatives
  • Deliver diverse learning solutions, including classroom sessions, webinars, coaching, and group presentations
  • Collaborate with practice groups and internal departments to create learning objectives and plans
  • Create video tutorials, quick reference guides, and job aids as learning resources
  • Provide advanced support for Microsoft Office, addressing formatting issues and Excel spreadsheet design
  • Identify and develop technology initiatives, manage projects, and coordinate pilot testing as needed

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of IT training/learning and development experience, preferably in a law firm setting
  • Degree or certificate in Technology or Adult Learning and Development is preferred
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Office 365, and familiarity with document management software
  • Microsoft Office Specialist certification is a plus
  • Up-to-date knowledge of training best practices and adult learning principles
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Enthusiastic, high-energy, dynamic personality
