The Technology Strategy Operational Support Systems (OSS) Network Team is responsible for providing application DevOps support that address network needs. As a Technology Consultant on this team your focus will be to ensure that our OSS network is robust, secure and meets the needs of our ever-growing suite of services.

If you are a technically strong individual who demonstrates leadership and is proactive in ensuring reliable services and who does so with extemporary oral and written communication, you might just be the perfect fit for this role!

As a part of the TS OSS Network Team you will work collaboratively with our client-facing and project teams, our suppliers and service providers. You will design and implement solutions aimed at bettering the Large Complex Deals (LCD) experience and providing 24/7 support to these solutions. To do so, you will work with architects to design, implement, and support solutions in the lab and in production. You will coordinate with the change management teams representing different LCD customers. Being a highly technically diverse and strong team, you will also be counted on to provide coaching to fellow team members, peers and other stakeholders in your areas of strength and expertise.

    •You have a proven track record and ability to translate business requirements, network strategies and architecture into reliable, scalable solutions •You are known for your ability to liaise with external and internal stakeholders, including customers, keeping focused on the end goal of building efficient, working systems •You are respected for your ability to see the big and long-term picture, thinking strategically, when it come to fixing technical issues, avoiding band aid solutions and focusing on long-term strategic solutions •You are sought out for your knowledge and deep understanding of Linux/HP-UX/AIX, OSS systems and applications, Networking, Firewalls, DNS, Syslog, SNMP, IPv4/IPv6 and Routing Protocols •You are the go-to person when it comes to understanding project governance and change management


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •You bring an understanding of systems and OSs that include Linux, HP-UX, AIX and networks in general •You have demonstrated leadership skills, being able to work directly with management teams and formulate strategic plans •You can easily explain complex and layered technical matters to non-technical crowds in a way that resonates with them •You have strong analytical skills that results in sound decisions •You bring past experience and knowledge of the Telco industry and the products and services that come with it
    •University Degree in related field such as Computer Science or a related field
