As a Technology Architect, you will be at the forefront of driving technology innovation and evolution. Some of the cool work you'll be doing will focus on robotic processing automation (RPA) and architecting the roadmap. You will explore, advocate and infuse new ways of building applications. You will collaborate with internal stakeholder and external vendors to deliver best in class architecture, tools and processes to drive better business outcomes and elevate customer experiences.Here's how
•Providing application and development architecture thought leadership and introducing new technologies and best practices to drive adoption
•Influencing technology investment decisions made by senior leaders by providing clear and simple communication of options, recommendations or solutions based on facts, data analytics and insights
•Continuously and proactively identifying opportunity to collaborate to implement technology and process improvement
•Designing the roadmap for RPA and the operational model
•Maintaining the Enterprise RPA website hosting the knowledge of the automation solutions across TELUS
•Leading steering committees and functional community forumsQualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•5 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) architecture, design and development
•Respected for your experience with Enterprise Software Development Methodology
•Known for successfully managing multiple, concurrent projects using Agile methodology and delivering on agreed upon commitments as promised
•Noted for your knowledge of robotic processing automation
•Regarded as an exceptional communicator and influencer, able to communicate complex ideas/concepts to a variety of audiences including senior leaders in a clear, compelling and easy to understand manner
•Noted to have a high degree of curiosity, continuously learning new topics, concepts and technologies
•Recognized for your creativity, innovation and continuous improvement mindset, and willingness to take risks based on facts, data and the belief in the art of the possible
•Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics or related discipline Who is TELUS?
