Position Overview

The Industry Solutions team are seeking a passionate Technical Product Manager to accelerate the platform development of our data platform. As the Technical Product Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Product Manager - Location Analytics, and play a critical role in defining the technical requirements, acceptance criteria and technical development priorities.

This position incorporates duties such as technical requirements scoping, wire framing, prototyping, release management, technical document writing, and QA. You will work with internal groups such as: data science, ETL, API and application development, security, identity, and data governance and architecture groups.

What you can expect from the role
    •Coordination of development efforts across a range of stakeholders, such as
    •Technology, Security, Privacy, Legal, and Procurement teams
    •Wireframe development, requirements gathering and acceptance criteria definition
    •Release management
    •Support in QA and UAT
    •Product documentation, and key product artifacts creation and updates
    •Cloud operations: cost management, usage reporting


Qualifications:


Skills/Qualifications
    •Strong understanding of technical requirements gathering
    •Previous experience working on platform products, particularly working with multiple vendors, data sets and data analytics use cases
    •Previous experience coordinating and working across cross-functional teams
    •Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to distill complex and/or ambiguous problems into clear, actionable plans
    •Experience developing new capabilities and taking them from concept to a successful release
    •Experience working with both Waterfall and Agile service development and project management processes
    •Ability to effectively communicate, sell ideas and influence, build your vision and gain buy-in across the organization

What you bring to the role
    •Deep understanding of Web and API architecture/product design
    •Conversant in common Internet technologies and protocols (HTTP, SSL, OAuth, REST,
    •JSON, XML, etc.), understanding the pros and cons of each
    •Experience building API products and/or data products
    •Experience with Big Data solutions and data integration
    •University degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science or Business
    •Minimum 7-10 years within a Technical BA, Product Development or Solutions Architect role
