WHAT IT TAKES
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in international student immigration advising.
• Certification as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant ( RCIC ) or Certification as a Regulated International Student Immigration Advisor ( RISIA ) ( RCIC is preferred).
• Must be in good standing with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council ( ICCRC ).
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Information
• This full-time, regular position is available starting September 21, 2026
• Hours of work will typically be scheduled Monday to Friday, between 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm
• This position is required to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs
• Shift days and times may change depending on operational needs
• Evening and occasional weekend work may be required.
• The position is located at the New Westminster campus; and will be required to work at all Douglas College campuses and offsite locations

• A modified/flexible schedule and/or hybrid work from home arrangement may be considered, subject to the terms of the College's Work From Home Policy
