Salary $67,418.93 - $77,019.79 annually

The Information Systems Branch (ISB) is responsible for providing strategic IM/IT leadership for the Justice and Public Safety sector, and for the provision of IM/IT services to support our sector program areas and stakeholders. Within ISB the Client Services team is responsible for developing and maintaining excellent client relationships and providing system solutions that meet client needs and Ministry mandates.

In this role you will provide business analysis/consulting services and leadership to support and plan ongoing business and technology needs consistent with Government and Ministry strategic plans, system standards and interfacing requirements of other ministries and agencies. The Team Lead provides expert advice to senior staff, leads multiple project teams and is required to work effectively in a team environment, while also independently managing projects and tasks. You are a skilled analytical thinker, an effective communicator, have excellent time management techniques, and thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science/information technology field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising staff, vendors or contracted resources.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with multiple stakeholders in a complex computer system operation and enterprise application environment.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with ITIL certification
  • Preference may be given to candidates with PMI, equivalent project management certification or training in methodologies
