Analytical by nature, you solve problems with facts and logic and make concrete decisions. You work well with others, communicate effectively both in written and spoken word, and are comfortable interacting with multiple different personalities. Organized, motivated, and focused, you are a strategic planner and would never be caught with your head in "the cloud"!

As the Support Analyst, you work with business and IT department staff throughout Canfor to develop positive working relationships. Immersed in innovative areas such as 2D coding, R.F. technology, product (SKU) identification, and an impressive array of in-house Microsoft.NET applications, you will join a leader in the forestry industry when it comes to technological advancements.

You will develop an understanding of our core ERP System (JDE) and supporting systems (OTM, Custom .Net Applications), and analyze systems to determine the criticality, causes, and impact on other areas. You will also continually enhance documentation and procedures to effectively resolve issues within Canfor's defined service level objectives.

In a perfect world, you have a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar, as well as proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. For bonus points, you have experience with JDE EnterpriseOne - ERP System, Oracle, SAP Concur, Igloo, ServiceNow, and some experience in the wood products manufacturing industry. For bonus, bonus points, you are based in Vancouver with the flexibility to work from both home and in the office.
