As a Strategy Manager in the Partner Alliances team, you will work with our top go-to market solution partners and TELUS stakeholders to drive profitable growth for TELUS. You will identify the alignment of TELUS and Partner strategy and objectives and establish the governance framework to create superior value from our partnerships. Your understanding of our priorities will assist you with reviewing performance, prioritizing initiatives, and executing partner marketing plans that support our joint TELUS-Partner business growth objectives.

A critical success factor for TELUS Business Solutions is to develop a strong ecosystem of partners that will allow us to address the dynamic problems faced by our business customers. The primary role of this temporary position will be to support the planning and implementation of our "Partner Hub" management model. This model will allow us to scale our partner ecosystem by standardizing our partner onboarding and management processes across TELUS Business Solutions. You will leverage your strong business and partner management skills to collaborate with product, marketing and sales teams to develop processes, implement reporting and tools for the "Partner Hub" model.

Here's how
    Strategic Planning - play a role of process owner as part of a team that is developing the partner onboarding and management processes for the Partner Hub model. The processes covered include:
      •Partner portfolio management - categorize and track partners in the portfolio, determine promotion/demotion of partners, direct TELUS teams towards the right partners, identify gaps in portfolio
      •Partner onboarding - coordinate the workflow of onboarding across TELUS teams including selection of new partners, procurement agreements, business targets/KPIs, trial/pilot phase, commercial launch phase
      •Partner operational management - relationship, performance and reciprocity
      •Partner life cycle management - tier level, planning for growth or retirement
      •Digital platform - database and digital workflow tools for more efficient partner management
    Process Implementation - work to establish some of the new processes that will be led or supported by the Partner Alliance team. Work includes:
      •Defining or clarifying the RASCI (people in the process who are responsible, accountable, supporting, consulted or informed)
      •Documenting and communicating the process steps to stakeholders
      •Testing, using and refining templates, tracking and workflow tools for partner onboarding and management
      •Testing, using and refining the partner portfolio catalog and analytics tools
      •Guiding and educating teams in the process
    Partner Management Support - the role may also transition to a formal partner management position that would support relationship and performance management of our top tier partners


Qualifications:


Your ideal profile includes
    •Demonstrated business relationship management and collaboration experience
    •Understanding product marketing, customer marketing programs and go-to-market sales motions
    •Strong business acumen - business case, profitability and data analysis experience
    •Passion for developing and managing complex projects and programs and navigating across entities within a large enterprise organization
    •Desire to drive organization and process transformation
    •Professional certifications and experience
    •5+ years of progressive experience in technology/telecommunications industry in partner/customer management, product marketing or program management
    •Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment working with high-tech products/services and enterprise software
    •Previous partner management experience highly desired
    •Experience managing executive-level meetings and governance of programs/partnerships
    •Experience working with sales and marketing teams to drive pipeline and revenue
    •Post-secondary degree in a Business or Technology discipline; MBA - assetProject Management / PMP, ITIL or Six sigma certification and courses - asset
