Job Description

Staff Accountant – Surrey, BC | $48K–$55K (depending on experience)

My client, a well-established CPA firm in Surrey, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with public practice experience who enjoys working directly with small business clients in a collaborative office setting.

What You’ll Do:

  • Full-cycle bookkeeping and year-end preparation (compilations)

  • Prepare personal and corporate tax returns

  • File GST/PST and process payroll

  • Support client accounting needs

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in public practice

  • Enrolled or interested in pursuing your CPA designation

  • Proficiency with CaseWare, TaxPrep, Sage 50, and MS Office 365

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
