Job summary
The Alexa Home Productivity (AHP) team is building a Family Manager, helping all household members manage their shared schedule, coordinate tasks and relieve the daily burden of keeping things running smoothly.

As the Sr. Mgr, Technical Program Management, you will manage our key cross vertical enablement groups - our Spoken Language Understanding/ML, Mobile, Growth and BI, and Category Management. These groups work closely with our vertical groups (Timers, Alarms, Calendar, Reminders, Notes, Weather), partnering to create our consumer facing offerings.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively with cross-functional peers, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities. As a manger of mangers, you will need to be able to effectively motivate and deliver through others.

The role will focus on creating programmatic technical solutions to customer reach and business problems. The role is inherently cross-functional and will require close work with business, engineering, research and design.


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field + MBA
• 10+ years of software industry experience working in software and product development
• 5+ years of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including all aspects of people development and team building.
• 3+ years of being Manager of Managers with a proven track record of developing people.


• Relishes ambiguity and change; devises frameworks to resolve and prioritize.
• Demonstrates excellent judgment based upon strong technical and product vision and excellent data-driven analysis.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Tenacious. A leader that will not give up when facing unexpected challenges.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
