TELUS Health is seeking an experienced hands-on Software Quality Engineering Manager to lead a team of manual and automated quality analysts. You will be responsible for fostering excellence throughout the software development and delivery process, planning and managing your team members' activities and their interactions with the Product, Development, Implementation and Customer Success teams.. •Build and grow an exceptional team. Promote active, continuous learning and improvement.
•Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams distributed across multiple locations
•Manage multiple concurrent projects while effectively solving problems that cross product boundaries
•Drive the technical and organizational roadmap for the team
•Foster innovation to strengthen and revise our testing strategy. Drive better ROI and a quality-first approach that ensures timely delivery of predictable, high-quality product releases
•Establish, gather, analyze and report team and quality metrics that demonstrate business value and show continuous improvement
•Communicate risks to stakeholders Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzleSkills/Experience
•10+ years' experience as a Software or Quality Engineer
•3+ years' of experience managing others
•Experience building infrastructures, frameworks, and tools to improve developer experience and speed up development, testing, and release
•Experience programming in Ruby, Java and/or Python
•Experience in building test automation frameworks and tools
•Experience with one or more of the following: Automation Frameworks/Testing, Integration Testing, Continuous Integration, or Test Design
• Ability to establish strong rapport and communication with exceptional clarity
•Strong leadership abilities, passionate and able to instill a sense of purpose in others Education
•Graduation from a post-secondary institution with a Degree specializing in Software engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related development field Nice to have
•Bilingualism (English and French)
