NTT DATA is looking for a UI/UX Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. If you're also familiar with Agile methodologies, we'd like to meet you.

Program Objectives

The objective of Enterprise Sales and Services program is to "Make health insurance easy for everyone." To achieve this objective the program will implement a series of continuous improvements improves the experiences of both our customers and employee by designing, aligning, and optimizing our organization's operations to better support customer journeys.

This role is key to shaping design direction and development.
Reporting Structure
The Experience Designer will work on a self-directed agile team under the managerial direction of the Enterprise Sales and Service Program Manager and report to the Senior Manager of Product and Experience Design.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create best in class internal and external experiences
• Conduct interviews, competitive research, design explorations and strategic analysis
• Facilitate workshops
• Work closely with technology to understand feasibility and constraints of new experiences
• Establish and develop design systems
• Design information architecture, user journeys, wireframes, flows, visual designs
• Play an active role in developing best in class product design practices
• Oversee parts of the project process to ensure high quality design at every phase
• Actively participate as part of the team to create compelling prototypes and presentations
• Participate in building, editing, maintaining, and prioritizing the program backlog
• Participating in the program increment planning
• Elaborating user stories and their acceptance criteria
• Participating in the team demos and retrospectives
• Mentoring and guiding PBC's development resources Required Qualifications or Experience
• 5+ years of Product / Service Design / UI / UX experience.
• Experience with Figma/Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud applications
• Process driven with remarkable intuition for product expectations and future development needs.
• Superior communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong appetite for emerging technology with an analytical mind set.
• Self-motivated, results-driven and able to effectively deal with a certain degree of ambiguity/autonomy
• Canadian citizenship or permanent residency Preferred Qualifications or Experience
• Experience in Health, Insurance and/or Financial industries
• Preferred prior experience working in a creative / agency environment
• Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS5, Node, JavaScript/JQuery is a plus
• Previous experience working in a unionized environment is a plus
• Organizational skills to include task management and decision making
• Demonstrate ability to thrive in an environment where you do not directly control all the success factors
• Ability to grasp the "big picture" for a solution by considering potential options and impacted areas
• High levels of energy, resilience, intelligence and integrity
