The Role:
We are a smart team of doers that work passionately to apply cutting-edge advances in robotics and software to solve real-world challenges that will transform our customers' experiences in ways we can't even imagine yet. We are looking for an intrepid problem-solver to dive into an ambiguous problem space and and deliver innovative software solutions, and to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including Amazon Robotics, to put the concepts you into production.
You will work alongside engineering (software/hardware), research, product management and to define and build key features and functionality for a truly unique product. As Software , you will be responsible for building and leading a team of engineers to architect, , and cutting edge technologies and services. This leader will own critical platform components spanning across device and cloud, and will work with senior engineers and other leaders to solve difficult technical problems.
The ideal candidate will have an established background building best-of-class engineering teams and a proven track record of solving hard technical problems. This person must also be a strong leader who can drive consensus across cross-functional business and software teams and be an excellent communicator who can articulate technical tradeoffs with senior technical leaders.


• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
• 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in partnering with product and program management teams


• MS in Computer Science
• Deeply technical with a track record of successful delivery as an individual contributor and leader
• Experience with stack
• Superior and architecture knowledge
• Proven success in building, motivating and retaining teams of star players
• A passion for people management and mentorship
• Robust project planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling and executing on committed schedules
• Excellent judgment, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong program and product management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
