BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 5+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language such as Java, C, C#, C++, Ruby, Perl

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of software development experience with 5+ years of software development manager
• Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Experience building distributed systems and web services
• Sharp analytical abilities and proven skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
• Strong problem solving ability and object-oriented skills
• Experience working in an agile software development organization
• In-depth knowledge of computer science, data structures and algorithms
• Strong problem solving ability and object-oriented skills
• Experience mentoring and training the engineering community on complex technical issues
