We are looking for a talented developer to build the next generation of real-time streaming solutions. In your new job, you get the opportunity to influence and further scaling and simplification of live streaming platform. You will get opportunity to work together with a group of talented engineers through your experience of large scale . You will build large scale system components using the massive frameworks and builder tools provided by Amazon builder ecosystem.
Our team puts a value on work-life balance. Most days, our entire team is co-located in the Vancouver office, but we're also flexible when people occasionally need to work from home. We generally keep core in-office hours from 10am to 4pm. About half of us come in earlier and the other half of us stay later.
This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week every three months. We don't like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our are fault tolerant. When we do get paged, we work together to resolve the root cause so that we don't get paged for the same issue twice.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as , C++, or including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current .PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience building extremely volume and highly scalable web services
• Experience with , consistent hashing, locking, replication, and load balancing
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively on shared projects with other developers
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and influence technical roadmap
