• Bachelor's Degree, or 2+ years of software development experience, including object-oriented design or object-oriented programming • 2+ years of experience in at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, or Java
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design and analysis • Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations • Distributed systems and web services design and implementation experience • Thorough understanding of Internet protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP, and UDP • Experience implementing servers and/or software solutions in a Linux environment
