CloudFront is integrated with - both physical locations that are directly connected to the global infrastructure, as well as other services. Amazon CloudFront's Engineering team is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to build automation and tooling of critical service reliability and efficiency functions that ensures massively scaled, fault-tolerant and globally service for our end users.
Opportunities with CloudFront include:
• Leading change to develop simple, elegant solutions to complex operational or reliability challenges
• Utilizing hands-on technical skills to partner with team members and be comfortable diving into the fray as needed

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
Familiarity with Internet protocols such as HTTP/S, TCP, and UDP and web-services.
Experience building large-scale web services, systems backed by services, such as AWS
Experience with CDN, DDoS mitigation, engineering and related services is a plus
Experience with micro-services and CI/CD is a plus
