Responsibilities include:
• Developing and maintaining automated build, configuration management and deployment/installation tools to support multiple product lines - Windows, Linux and Cloud • Designing and implementing advanced automated Continuous Integration build, test, and release infrastructure • Collaborating with the quality assurance team to develop automated test environments • Driving adoption of best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability • Conducting peer reviews of code for adherence to coding standards and design guidelines • Working in an open culture where design, code and ideas are open to scrutiny and discussion
The ideal candidate would have strong software development skills; a good understanding of Configuration Management principles and tools; and experience automating continuous integration in a development environment. We are improving the Continuous Integration and automation of our build and CM systems and require software development skills to help put it all together. Qualifications:
• 5+ years development experience • Proven experience with C++ development environment using gcc and Visual Studio • Proven experience with scripting in Python, Bash, Powershell • Proven experience with build systems and test automation • Experience with version control systems (Mercurial, Git, etc.) and build tools (Make, or similar) • You take pride in delivering clearly-written, reusable, and well-tested code • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline • Experience with development in Linux and Windows environments • Experience with the following tools would be considered an asset: Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Bamboo, Confluence, Fisheye, BitBucket), Incredibuild, Artifactory, SVN, Jenkins Perks and Benefits:
