You will be a part of the Content Centre of Excellence and will work alongside an established team of subject matter experts who specialize in SEO, Content Strategy and Information Architecture. Together, you will all drive forward the Centre of Excellence's mission of improving delivery and outcomes for all Content and SEO practitioners across TELUS.

As an Intermediate SEO Strategist reporting into the Manager, Content Centre of Excellence, You will be the champion of SEO at TELUS Digital! We need You to help us develop a world-class SEO culture through enablement, knowledge sharing and leadership.

Here's how

Leveling Up Our SEO
    •Develop, maintain, evolve, promote and implement standards, guidelines and best practices •Drive adoption of standards •Evolve and refine. Refine and Evolve processes that shape the way we deliver Content and SEO work for all practitioners across different TELUS business units •Data & Visualization: Organize, interpret and visualize SEO and web analytics data using both native and in-house proprietary datasets. We use STAT, Ahrefs, GSC and Adobe Analytics data visualized with Google Data Studio

Data & Measurement
    •Define SEO success criteria and metrics that ladder-up to desired outcomes; Monitor and report on SEO KPIs for special project engagements •Deliver on SEO priorities and commitments utilizing the prioritized backlog •Conduct keyword research and competitive audits using our paid tools and Google Search Console •Work directly with teams to assist them in setting SEO goals and targets while helping them to develop roadmaps •Identify keyword strategy and KPIs; your influence and experience will ensure stakeholder buy-in and alignment on what successful SEO performance looks like •Use our proprietary SEO data set to build dashboards and drive reporting automation

Communication and Collaboration
    •Develop documentation and facilitate cross-team collaboration •Define what good looks like by curating and organizing a repository of resources for practitioners (e.g. documentation from past projects, POVs, retrospectives, how-to guides, playbooks, etc.). Establish "north star" templates to guide future TELUS Digital initiatives and projects •Actively engage in regular meetings, workshops and utilize various collaboration tools i.e. Slack, Google Suite, Email •Provide SEO consultation on projects across the organization •Drive change and adoption through discipline-specific concepts, influencing diverse stakeholder groups, and showcasing your fabulous presentation skills


Qualifications:


Great-to-haves
    •3-5 years of experience developing and executing SEO strategies for enterprise sized companies, preferably as an in-house SEO •Expert level proficiency using SEO tools like Ahrefs or SEMrush, STAT and Google Search Console •Experience using Agile methodologies, task management software and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
