Customer Solutions Delivery West is looking for a dynamic and strategically focused individual to join our team!
As part of the CSD West team you will work within the larger Customer Service Excellence organization in deploying the PureFibre technology that will see TELUS into the future and ensure our field operations is ready to meet the changing demands of our customers. CSD is the team responsible for building, delivering and maintaining our wireline network. With more than 1,500 incredible team members and 2,000 partners across Canada, we work in our communities, on the road, on-site and behind the scenes to make sure our customers have the services they need when they need them. What we do is pretty amazing: linking all those customers to the people and information that matter most to them. Our CSD West team and our cross functional support teams work together closely to ensure an extraordinary customer experience. The Senior Strategy Manager position is accountable for:
•Driving actionable insights from our key metrics and business performance indicators
•Developing the 1-3 year strategic vision for CSD West
•Leading people and process changes as we advance our operational performance and efficiency
•Collaborating with stakeholders to determine the best solutions
•Creating and presenting progress to a cross functional executive leadership team
•Constantly on the lookout for industry and customer trends to find the next best opportunity Qualifications:What YOU bring:
•You have 7+ years of experience in large scale program/change management or business process improvement
•Ideally a post-secondary degree in Business, or experience in a related field would be preferred
•Distinct problem-solving, strategic, and analytical capabilities with a strong track record of setting and delivering against key metrics
•Having an understanding of project lifecycle from ideation to execution
•It's a given that you'll have excellent communication skills in both business and technical situations and the ability to speak the language of many different audiences
•5+ years of consulting, business strategy, and/or product management experience
•Solid business acumen and an understanding of key financial performance measures
•Passion for storytelling, synthesizing complex business dynamics into a compelling narrative for executives
•Proven analytical abilities: business modelling, forecasting and market assessment
•Systematic approach to solving complex problems
•Track record of turning information into actionable insights
•Passion for working in a fast paced, high performance culture
•Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Drive, Hangouts, etc.) Great-to-haves
•Having experience in service development and/or customer experience and operations
•Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree
