As a Senior Service Asset & Configuration Management Analyst
you'll be tasked with providing expert guidance and direction to our project and operational teams, especially when they run into unexpected issues and need help moving forward. You'll be discovering, tracking, maintaining, and auditing information related to our IT assets, including mapping the ways they're interconnected across our environment. In this role you'll make data-driven decisions, articulate your ideas to a variety of stakeholders, and manage a range of business relationships, so you'll get a chance to put your organization skills to the test. What you'll be doing:
• Cataloging IT assets and mapping how they're interconnected in our environment, which spans multiple geographical locations • Using a variety of tools to discover, track, and maintain, information on our IT assets • Grooming a database to influence strategic projects, identify technical debt, and effectively audit the information for accuracy • Providing expert-level guidance and direction to project and operational teams and helping them move forward when unexpected issues come up • Working with partners at the Best Buy US Head Office to ensure consistent execution of the Asset and Configuration Management programs • Identifying problems with asset and configuration data, and finding technical and process-based solutions to cleanse the data for use • Working with partners at Best Buy US Head Office to ensure consistent execution of the Asset and Configuration Management programs • Identify problems with asset & configuration data and figure out technical and process-based solutions to cleanse the data for use What you'll need to succeed:
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree from a trade or tech school, or equivalent professional experience • ITIL Foundation or equivalent training • Experience in Configuration Management Practices, IT Asset Lifecycle Management, uCMDB, and ServiceNow • Experience working in medium or large enterprise organizations • Highly collaborative mindset that allows you to build trust and accountability • Natural curiosity to explore and entertain fresh ideas and feedback • Ability to embrace change with positivity and enthusiasm What's waiting for you at head office:
