Passionate about pluripotent stem cells and excited by the idea of managing a program? STEMCELL is looking for a Senior Program Manager for our iPSC Platform!

The Senior Program Manager has the responsibility of leading and organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of the iPSC services program lifecycle. You will combine your specialized knowledge of all core aspects of human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC) biology, as well as take on the challenge of establishing and executing the program fit within the enterprise structure and co-dependencies with other functional teams (e.g. R&D, QA, and QC).

This role is essential in communicating complex information effectively and diplomatically to internal and external collaborators and ensuring that program deliverables are completed on time and on budget, as described in the program plan. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage company-wide iPSC platform strategy, IP landscape, and business development evaluations, while facilitating a deep understanding of reprogramming, scale-up, banking, QC, and drug development assays
  • Facilitate the integration of multiple program schedules and plans, and collaborate with sponsors and senior management to determine the program scope, priority and resource allocation

  • Write and review protocols, technical reports, and SOPs, and develop appropriate documentation for iPSC and differentiated cell service offerings
  • Act as a liaison with all relevant internal groups and a STEMCELL ambassador to external collaborators, partners, and CROs, while identifying risks, management strategies, and produce and control program timelines
  • Implement process improvements into iPSC and differentiated cell methodologies, and generally serve as a subject matter expert for iPSC platform technology

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, master's with 8+ years experience, or PhD with 5+ years of experience
  • Related experience in program management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups required
  • Advanced knowledge of program management fundamentals as required to provide technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience communicating and influencing within a complex interdisciplinary environment
  • Strong computer literacy experience with word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, program management and database applications
